Most of our work is local: Burlington, Oakville and Hamilton. The same crew loads, drives and unloads, and your beds get put back together before we leave.
Before moving day we get the addresses, the date and the big items, like a piano, a sectional or a gun cabinet. For a full house Jeff walks through first so the written price matches the job.
On the day, the crew pads and wraps furniture, protects floors and elevators, takes apart what needs taking apart and puts it back together at the other end. We move pianos. We don’t move large safes.
Add-ons people ask about
Packing
We can pack the whole house or just the kitchen and the breakables.
Four things: the date (summer and month-end cost more), how much you’re moving, what it is (antiques and pianos take more care), and the distance between homes. We don’t move paint, propane tanks, or anything explosive or under pressure.
Do you take furniture apart and put it back together?
Yes. Beds, tables and anything that won’t fit through a door get taken apart and reassembled at the new place.
How far ahead should I book?
For summer and month-end dates, book as early as you can. Weekday moves outside those times are easier to fit in.
